「省エネ・環境改善提案部」を設け、環境対策にも邁進。省エネ対策において、年間26㌫の電力量を削減し、17年度地球温暖化防止活動環境大臣賞に続き、18年度低炭素杯企業部門環境大臣賞金賞を相次いで受賞しています。また、2015年と2018年の「茨城県堆肥コンクール」で最優秀賞、県知事賞を受賞しました。
We have established a Low Energy Consumption and Environmental Improvement Division that actively pursues various environmental initiatives. As part of reductions in energy consumption, we have achieved a 26% annual reduction in power use. For 2017, we obtained the Minister of the Environment’s Award for Prevention of Global Warming, followed by the 2018 Minister of the Environment’s Award for Low Carbon Emissions. In addition, we have won the grand prize and Prefectural Governor Award in the 2015 and 2018 Ibaraki Prefecture Compost Contests.
